Pricing

Pricing is based on the product bundle (a combination of products), the length of the lease for the bundle, and the number of seats for the bundle. The number of seats (or licenses) is what allows multiple users to run the same bundle at the same time. The lease can be for 3, 6, or 12 month periods, and is subject to Streamsim's Software License Agreement (SLA). Software is also leased as part of Streamsim's Engineering Subscription Service (Exhibit A) to help clients quickly build reliable and useful models.

Product Bundles

  1. studioSL Base is the pre/post product required for all workflows.
  2. Surveillance Includes studioSL Base, 3DSL (surveillance, parallel) and floodOPT.
  3. Simulation Base Includes studioSL Base,  3DSL (surveillance, parallel, incompressible, dual-porosity) and floodOPT.
  4. Simulation All Includes studioSL Base,  3DSL (surveillance, parallel, incompressible, compressible, dual-porosity, blackoil, chemical) and floodOPT.
  5. Well-Level History Matching module to studioSL to perform "smart paint" and "SL-region" history matching (SL-derived permeability and porosity multipliers). Requires Simulation Base or All to extract streamline information. Can be combined with ECL or IX simulations.
  6. EVOLVE® module to studioSL for ensemble-based models from geo-screening to forecasting and uncertainty in NPV. Includes Well-Level HM and a multiRUN license. Run multiple simulations (limited by CPU of hardware) of the same ensemble in the uncertainty workflow and only use a single 3DSL license.

  1. Contact Streamsim for a price quote for desired workflows, on-site training, or short courses.
  2. The number of licenses sets the number of concurrent users able to run the same product at the same time. For example, the number of 3DSL simulation runs simultaneously is equal to the number of 3DSL licenses available. If a user wants to run two 3DSL simulation or surveillance runs at the same time, two 3DSL licenses are required.
  3. With the EVOLVE workflow, the multiRUN license allows multiple concurrent simulations by the same user on the same physical hardware box (limited to the number of CPUs) within the same ensemble of runs but only consuming a single 3DSL license.
  4. A network license hosted on a network license server (RLM) allows to run the software on any machine able to communicate with the license server.
  5. A lease license stops working at the end of the lease period (3, 6, or 12 months).
  6. Software maintenance and online support is included during the lease period.
  7. Payment for all licenses is due within 30 days of receipt of invoice. Temporary licenses will be issued until full payment is received.
